My Recent Journey To Barcelona
"With Barcelona’s mix of culture and modernity, there is something that appeals to everyone. Personally, I was greatly rewarded for resisting the decadent shopping temptations of Central Barcelona. Not only did I enjoy the Born Neighbourhood with its abundance of small, traditional shops selling handcrafted items, I also found one in particular (Happ Barcelona) that is part shop, part bazaar, part busy artists. The mix of shopping and enjoying art in the making was splendid. That night, I had dinner at the famous Lola & Lo Restaurant in the Raval neighbourhood where I watched as the tranquil Barcelona of the day gives way to a boisterous party scene come night-time. The best part? I was right in the thick of it!"
